The Havelländische Eisenbahn (hvle) is a private operator from Germany. In 2007 it purchased a new AC2 locomotive for its freight shuttle service from Spreewitz to Schwerte. It got service number 185 583 and the name 'Havelland'.

In March and April 2009, the HVLE recieved two more electric Traxx units, the designated 185 640 and 641. On 18.04.2009 both engines were officially presented and both got a name: Rübeland and Blankenburg.
